Terms of Use

By creating an account, accessing, or using any part of the Service, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and any additional guidelines or rules posted within the Service. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.

If you are accepting these Terms on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization, and "you" refers to that organization.

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may only use the Service with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to be bound by these Terms on your behalf.

You must also have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract and not be barred from using the Service under any applicable law.

To access certain features, you must register for an account and provide accurate, current, and complete information. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
• All activity that occurs under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access or security breach
• Ensuring your profile information remains accurate and up to date

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that contain false information or violate these Terms.

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, Vireon grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install, and use the Service for your personal, non-commercial career development purposes.

You may not:

• Copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code
• Use the Service to build a competing product or service
• Remove any proprietary notices or labels

Vireon offers a free tier and a Premium subscription billed at ₦1,500 per week (approximately $0.94/week). Pricing may vary based on your region, applicable taxes, and promotional offers in effect at the time of purchase.

Billing & Renewal

• Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before renewal
• Payments are processed by your app store or our payment partner and are subject to their terms
• We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with at least 14 days' notice
• You are responsible for all applicable taxes and currency conversion fees

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or your app store. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you will retain Premium access until then.

Refunds are generally not provided for partial billing periods. Where required by law (such as statutory cooling-off rights in some jurisdictions), we will honor your refund rights. App store purchases are subject to the refund policy of the relevant store (Google Play / Apple App Store).

The Service uses artificial intelligence to generate career recommendations, CVs, cover letters, interview questions, skill roadmaps, and other outputs. You acknowledge and agree that:

• AI-generated content may contain inaccuracies, biases, or incomplete information
• You are responsible for reviewing, verifying, and editing all AI outputs before relying on them
• Vireon does not guarantee employment, income, interview success, or any specific career outcome
• AI outputs do not constitute professional career, legal, financial, or psychological advice
• You should not submit confidential third-party information to the AI features

You retain ownership of the information, text, files, and other content you submit to the Service ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you grant Vireon a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, process, and display that content solely to operate and improve the Service.

You represent that you own or have the necessary rights to all User Content you submit, and that it does not violate any law or third-party rights.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purpose
• Submit false, misleading, or impersonating information
• Upload viruses, malware, or any malicious code
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or our systems
• Scrape, harvest, or collect data from the Service without permission
• Use automated tools (bots, crawlers) to interact with the Service
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its servers
• Submit content that is hateful, harassing, defamatory, obscene, or discriminatory
• Use the Service to spam, phish, or solicit users

The Service, including its design, code, branding, logos, text, graphics, and AI models, is owned by Vireon or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms transfers any ownership rights to you.

"Vireon", the Vireon logo, and related marks are trademarks of Vireon. You may not use them without our prior written consent.

The Service may integrate with or link to third-party services (such as Google Play, payment processors, analytics providers, and job listing sources). We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of those third parties. Your use of any third-party service is governed by that party's terms.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

Vireon does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of harmful components, or that any career, job, or income outcomes will be achieved through use of the Service.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL VIREON, ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, REPUTATION, OR EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising under these Terms will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid Vireon in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) USD $50.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Vireon and its affiliates from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use of the Service, (b) your violation of these Terms, (c) your User Content, or (d) your violation of any third-party rights or applicable law.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or pose a risk to the Service or other users.

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately, but provisions that by their nature should survive (including IP, disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnity, and dispute resolution) will continue to apply.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. You agree to first attempt to resolve any dispute informally by contacting us at support@vireon.best.

If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts located in Lagos, Nigeria, except where mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence provide otherwise.

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to the Service, our business, or applicable law. When we make material changes, we will notify you through the app or by email and update the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
